Director of Music and Worship.  Bentonville First United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Director of Music and Worship who is a Christian leader of integrity, passionate about worship, and whose beliefs are consistent with those of the United Methodist Church.  This person will lead worship in two services on Sunday mornings and other special services.  Direct, coordinate, and manage all church music, programs, and musicians, either personally or through other directors or volunteers.    The abilities to complete assignments promptly and efficiently, to work well with church members, co-workers, and the general public are essential to this position.  Salary will be based on experience and education. Associate Youth Minister.  Bentonville First United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Associate Youth Minister to  work with the Youth Minister to serve youth in grades 7 – 12 during the summer months and school year.  This person will help develop, implement and execute plans that may include Bible Studies, retreats, camps, weekly youth ministry meetings, called meetings, activities, and mission trips.  He or she will also assist the Youth Minister in leading and lead YOUth, activities, trips, events, etc.  Developing relationships with the youth will be of utmost importance.   Total hours per week will be negotiated, but may require weekend hours.  Hours and pay will expand for summer months.  The pay will be $10.50/hour up to 12 hours/week during the school year, and $250/week during the summer schedule.  A host home may be available for the summer.  The complete job description is available here.  Applications will be accepted through Monday, April 8.  Finalists will be contacted and interviews set to take place as soon as possible.  Candidates should send a resume and a completed job application to Brandon Bates, brandon@fumcbentonville.org or to First United Methodist Church, 201 N.W. 2nd Street, Bentonville, AR  72712, fax number 479.273.2842.
