Mission & Vision

Our VISION is to become

"A CHURCH ALIVE, CENTERED IN CHRIST, EXTENDING GOD'S LOVE"

by fulfilling our MISSION:

Bringing People Together to Share God's Love

Our Core Beliefs:

We are a Trinitarian church, in which we believe that God has revealed Godself to God's creation in three ways as Creator (Father), Redeemer (Son), and Sustainer (Holy Spirit).  God created people as male and female to be in relationship with him and one another.  Sin is that which separates us from God and from one another.  Jesus, the Son of God, came into the world to save sinners through his life-giving death on the cross and the resurrection.  We are saved by faith through grace.  Through the Holy Spirit, God's presence is active in the world so that all may come to know God.  We experience God's grace through the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, worship, study, prayer, Christian action, fellowship, and through the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.

Our Core Values:

All people -- the subjects of God's love and salvation;

God's grace -- the free gift of God of unconditional love for the people of God;

The Church Universal -- the body of Christ in the world coming together for worship and service to the world;

Personal holiness -- God shaping our lives through personal disciplines of worship, study, prayer, witness, and generosity;

Social holiness -- God's presence in the world working through us in ministries of mission, justice and compassion for all people.
