Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is an adult SATB ensemble of about 50 members that provides special music for the Traditional Sanctuary Celebration at 8:45AM and 11:00AM. Rehearsals for both the 8:45AM and 11:00AM services are Wednesdays at 6:30PM in the Sanctuary. In addition to the Sunday Worship, the choir also sings for special choral services during Advent and Holy Week. About once a month, the FUMC Strings & Brass Ensemble accompanies the Sunday choral anthem. The Chancel Choir usually takes a mid-summer break before resuming rehearsals in the fall.
Music Director Miles Fish rehearses and conducts the Chancel Choir and FUMC Strings & Brass. Martha Cox is the church pianist and she often plays violin with the FUMC Strings. Vicki Redman is the church organist.
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir meets each Wednesday afternoon at 4:30PM in the Sanctuary during the school year. The Youth Choir sings in worship about once a month and takes terrific annual summer tours.
