Spiritual Gifts

"A spiritual gift is given to each of us so that we may help each other." 1 Cor. 12:7

Spiritual gifts are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit and distributed to every believer according to God's design and grace for the common good of the body of Christ. Discovering and developing your spiritual gifts is an important part of a relationship with Jesus Christ. In fact, when you serve in your area of "giftedness," you are worshiping your Creator. Here at First United Methodist, we enable people through the Holy Spirit to be in ministry to others.

We do that in many ways, but first is to take a spiritual gifts assessment. This on-line tool will begin your journey in developing your servant profile and help answer those questions: What do I do best? How should I serve? Where in the church should I put my energy?
