Project

Philippians 1:6 -11
I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Indeed, it is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, and you are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel.  For God is my witness, how deeply I miss all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment, so that you may approve the things that are superior and may be pure and blameless in the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.
Sunday Sermon
This Sunday, we will conclude our series, Living the Dream: Project as we attempt to think about our future. Pastor Michelle and Pastor Ray will discuss projections and ministry plans on this little corner. Before us we see an exciting time and a vast horizon. God has plans, and we are the hands and feet of these plans. How do we move forward as a community while providing a place for those who will join this band of believers in the future? How do we provide a place for all our children and the children of our children to help bring about the Kingdom of God on earth? How can we continue our dance with the Holy Spirit as we move forward?

Planning a Legacy Luncheon
Join us for a 90-minute presentation and lunch, Planning a Legacy, that will be held in Hines Hall on Sunday, January 28th immediately following the 11:00 worship service. You will learn basic information about wills, funeral and memorial services, and end of life planning. If you are over 65, you will learn about ways you can give that can offer you immediate financial benefits, provide you with a lifetime income, and make a legacy gift to the church. As Christians, we believe in a life after our earthly life, but most of us are not planning for the transition from this life to the next.  This presentation will help you think about that planning, including practical information and useful forms. Child care will be provided for those with young children, since it is never too early to start thinking about and making these plans.

There is no charge for this training, as it is being sponsored by The Mixers Sunday school class, but the number of people allowed is limited, so please sign up here and hold your space.
