Rev. Dr. T Ray Wheeler

Foolish Love… is Risky

Matthew 5:43-48; Matthew 26:14-25, 47-50
This week we confront Jesus’ teaching that we should love our enemies, and we also confront the reality that loving our enemies is not a safe thing to do.  It very well may lead to our own profound loss. To what extreme are we called to love?  Is this kind of love just for Jesus or for us too? Is it true that the test of our faith is not if we love Jesus but if we love Judas?

community events

Beer & Hymns | I'm Every Woman

Presented by Bentonville Moves Coalition

To celebrate Women's History Month, our March event is for women, about women, and sung by ONLY WOMEN. That's right - Ken is stepping back from the mic to make room for some amazing female singers!

Our featured charity for March is Havenwood, empowering single mothers and their children to move from crisis to self-sufficiency. Come join the fun as we help Havenwood break generational cycles by providing a safe place and resources that foster a community where all single mothers are able to meet the needs of their families.

All ages and all people welcome! Beer & Hymns brings people together to raise our glasses, raise our voices, and raise funds for organizations that change the world.

Eclipse Day and Earth Day
Mark your calendars now for two special events hosted by our church. On Monday, April 8 we will gather on the Green Space from noon to approximately 3 p.m. to share in food provided by the Goodman family (first come, first served), music, bubbles, etc. as we prepare to "watch" the Solar Eclipse (some eclipse glasses will be available). Then on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. join our church and several area organizations for our Earth Day Fair. Learn more about how you can contribute to conservation efforts in our community and make a difference. And if you would like to volunteer for the fair, contact Johnna Kosnoff at !
