Second Street Pantry
Second Street Pantry was established in January, 2011 as a community outreach program by members of First United Methodist Church of Bentonville.
Our hope is that when people from our community come to our church, that we will always be able to help. We want those who enter our doors to be fed, to be warmed, and to know the love of Christ.
Pantry hours are Tuesday from 5:00PM - 6:00PM and Wednesday from 9:00AM to 11:30PM.
Bentonville area residents are welcome to come as needed for assistance. Certain restrictions apply, but we pray that all who enter leave with a sense of hope and love.
Second Street Pantry is a non-profit organization that distributes products that are either donated or purchased from donated funds. We are a member of the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance.
What is your role?
There are three ways to participate: donating items, donating money, and donating time.
The pantry is completely managed by volunteers. We welcome people of all ages to work in this ministry. Roles available are Pantry Work, Interviewer, Greeter, and Shopper.
Contact us on Facebook, at secondstreetpantry@yahoo.com, or through the church office at 479/273-2712.

Second Street Pantry is looking for someone to work to fulfill needs that are "above and beyond" the normal capabilities of the Second Street Pantry. Whether it is meeting a one-time urgent need from a local family or helping a program at a local school, we need someone who can step in and coordinate what needs to be done.
