Earth Day Picnic on our Green Space
Our Creation Care team invites you to come together on Sunday, April 19 anytime between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to honor Earth Day! Bring your own food and a blanket/lawnchair to enjoy a casual, community picnic on our beautiful green space next to our church. All are welcome to the picnic. A large yard sign will be present please take photos & tag our church on social media. Sunday School classes are encouraged to meet outside during the 10 a.m. Sunday School hour.
Earth Day 2026’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet” reminds us that environmental progress doesn’t depend on any single administration or election. It’s sustained by daily actions of communities, educators, workers, and families protecting where they live and work. Over one billion people in 193 countries now honor Earth Day, which began on April 22, 1970. You may read more about Earth Day by clicking here. We look forward to seeing you on the lawn! (rain date: April 26)

Donations for Guatemala Mission
We are grateful that several of you have asked how to support us and the people of Guatemala during our VISION mission trip (partnered with Central UMC,) May 23 - 30. Here are a few ideas:
1) Prayers for safety and success in helping all the Guatemalans we meet.
2) Items for the children of Guatemala (You may leave donations in the church office.):
- New/used Spanish or English/Spanish children's books
- Used soccer jerseys and cleats
- Used suitcases to transport items to Guatemala
- Amazon Wishlist Vision Trip - Guatemala, May 2026
- Financial contributions to procure additional items and/or pay airline costs for transporting extra suitcases. Love offerings can be made through the church website (choose "special offering" and note "Guatemala") or Sunday Services (indicate funds are for Guatemala).
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Kevin & Wanda Brown ( )
