Philippians 2: 1-16
Philippians is a letter about joy! Writing from prison, Paul describes the joys of following Christ and persevering for the gospel, and the secret to being content in any situation. We know from the letter that the Philippians were facing a lot of hardship (and Paul wasn’t exactly living the high life himself). Paul is telling the Philippians to, “hold fast and shine” no matter how bleak and troubling things look!

June 1 - Worship at Devil's Den and One Worship Jazz and Potluck
On June 1, those who have gathered for the Family Campout at Devil's Den will worship together in the beauty of nature. Then, at 11 a.m., those in Bentonville will gather for One Worship (no 9 a.m. service that day) as we celebrate with a Jazz Sunday, and follow it up with a potluck in Hines Hall. No matter where you are, join us for these unique experiences of praising God and living in community!
200X500 Update!
A few weeks ago, Pastor Michelle challenged us to make up a budget shortfall that was due to some deaths and moves that happened in our congregation. We needed to raise $100,000 to make up the shortfall, which would require 200 of us to give $500 more. As of last weekend, we had all the commitments we needed to make up the difference! Thank you all for your tremendous generosity, and your faith in the work this church does for Christ in Bentonville!
Family ministries
Join us for camping!
We have a lot of fun planned for our Family Ministries camping in Devils Den next weekend! Our overnight spots are filled up, but we hope families join us for the day on Saturday and Sunday!

Vacation Bible School Sign-Up
Registration for this year's "Living Like Jesus" VBS is open. We are so excited to share about who Jesus was and what his life was like! Participants must be 4 years old - upcoming 6th graders. Volunteers must be upcoming 7th graders and beyond. Click here to sign up.
Confirmation on the Road
Sunday, July 27 - Thursday, July 31 | Students 7-12th grade who have not had a traditional Confirmation experience are invited to join Pastor Michelle and Kristin on this week-long trip to learn the theology of the UMC and visit important sites of our Methodist history throughout Arkansas and Texas! *Scholarships are available*

Our First 4S - Second Saturday Supper and Stories - is Coming!
Mark your calendars and plan to come eat in Hines Hall on Saturday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. for Second Saturday Supper and Stories! Each month we will gather and share stories and supper around a different theme. This month's theme is Family Vacations, and the menu will be deli fried chicken and picnic fixins (vegetarian and gluten free options will also be available). We need 2-3 people to kick off our time together by sharing a story of a family vacation with the whole group, so think about if you want to be one of those people. Otherwise, the rest of us will share our stories around tables together. This is a way to get to know each other better and grow in understanding of each other, so plan to join us each month for this fun food and fellowship time together!
Volunteer for Ozark Mission Project in Bentonville!
Ozark Mission Project is coming to our community and church the week of June 8-13. There are many opportunities to be involved, from serving a meal, to delivering popsicles, to helping with construction for a day. Coming Soon - The Gathering Unplugged!
Thanks to significant growth in The Gathering, we are beginning a new service on Pentecost, June 8! The Gathering Unplugged will be a near repeat of The Gathering with a few adjustments to meet a compressed time frame of 10:10-10:50am. If you want to provide help for this service, contact Pastor Michelle. And all of you, please pray for this service. Pray it is a time of worship that will reach new people for Jesus Christ and give space for all who come in our doors just seeking to have a place. May we always have the room in our building that God has in God's heart.
