FUMC Kids is for families with children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. We believe every child should feel loved and valued and it is our job to be a steppingstone on each child’s faith journey. Our programming allows children to find a friend in Jesus, strengthens mission minded growth, and continues a fellowship amongst their peers.

Registration for this year's "Living Like Jesus" VBS is open. We are so excited to share about who Jesus was and what his life was like! Participants must be 4 years old - by August 1, 2024 upcoming 6th graders. Volunteers must be upcoming 7th graders and beyond.

Summer Sunday School

From Sunday, May 29- Sunday August 14 our students will go "Back to the Basics". Each week all students, grades K-6, will be asked if they would like to learn through art, drama, or legos. All of these classes take place upstairs in our children's area. 

Fall/Winter/Spring Sunday School 

Starting Sunday, August 21, our students will split into grade-based classes and study "Telling God's Story". 

Class breakdowns are: Kindergarten & First, Second & Third, Fourth & Fith. Sixth Grade will meet on their own preparing for and then studying confirmation.  

Kid Meet Ups

Once a month our Kids (grades K-4) meet on a Sunday evening from 4-5:30 pm. Middle School Meet Ups are posted on Facebook and the Kids monthly calendar. 

Middle School Meet Ups

Once a month our Middle Schoolers (grades 5 & 6) meet on a Sunday evening from 4-5:30 pm. Middle School Meet Ups are posted on Facebook and the Kids monthly calendar. 

Wednesday Nights

All Children are invited, K-6 to Wednesday Night Kids. Throughout the summer we will meet from 5:30-6:30 pm to prepare Children First by learning, acting, singing, and more! We even have a cooking class, please sign up for cooking by emailing Ms. Allison . 

Children First is a Worship service for children and families led by our FUMC Kids. Throughout each month our students meet Wednesday evenings to learn about one subject regarding their faith. By the First Sunday of the next month, these kids are eager to teach our congregation what they have learned through music, messages, art, liturgy, and even communion. Our Children's Director helped to write a communion liturgy for children. On these special Sundays, one child stands along side our Pastor and helps in this sacrament. Join us on any First Sunday at 9 am in the Sanctuary or on Facebook Live and be blessed.
