Ways to Worship

The Gathering
This contemporary worship service meets Sundays at 9 AM and invites worshipers into an immersive experience of God's presence through modern music and heartfelt expression. Led by Ken Weatherford, Matt Nelson, and our Praise Band, The Gathering creates space for authentic connection with God and community through dynamic worship, biblical preaching, and an atmosphere where people can encounter Christ in fresh and meaningful ways. Whether you're new to church or have been attending for years, this service welcomes all who are seeking to grow in faith through contemporary expressions of worship.
Unplugged
This worship service from 10:10-10:50 AM each Sunday in Hines Hall at the West end of the building invites us to unplug from the noise and demands of the world around us and focus intently on God. The compressed time makes space for intentional centering and provides a worship that is open to people with ADHD, medical conditions that make sitting for an hour deeply uncomfortable, need less auditory or visual stimulation in worship, or parents with children who have about a half hour of focus in them (or less -they can always play in the back of the room).
Traditional Worship
This family-friendly service is held Sundays at 11 AM in the Sanctuary. Through the music of our Chancel Choir led by Rev. Dr. T. Ray Wheeler, the collective affirmation of reciting creeds and liturgy, and the group singing of hymns that have been with us through the ages, we practice worship together. We also share in Holy Communion every week. All are welcome into this intergenerational and longstanding service of worship.
