Egypt

Pastor Michelle is back from the Holy Land and ready to share new tales. This sermon was written while she was on her trip, so the details must be heard in person.

The Dimensions of a Complete Life

This week we look back to Revelations to explore "The Dimensions of a Complete Life." Welcome guest pastor Rev. Sara Bainbridge.

By Faith, Abraham

We read in this passage about Abram’s visions and his conversation with the One God.  God assures Abram that he should not be afraid and his reward will be great!  Abram has a conversation with God, asking how this can be and how Abram will know this is the word of God.  Abram believes in God’s promises, and Abram’s faith is counted by Him as righteousness!

A Revelation Christmas Story

This strange episode in Revelation hearkens back to the birth of Christ as well as to the confrontation between Satan and the woman in the Garden. It may seem like a weird passage for Christmas, but it is another Christmas story.

Body: Joyful Giving!

As we look at joy in the midst of Advent, we will see the joy in generosity and simplicity over the joy of taking and receiving.

We examine hope this week, particularly hope in anxious times. 2 Thess is an apocalyptic letter, so what does it mean to lay claim to hope when it feels like the world is coming to an end?

This sermon will cap this series by both affirming our church’s welcome statement and our mission to reach those who are far from home and far from God, all in the name of following Jesus.

Who Are We? : We Are All Family Now

This sermon will look at the straw men arguments set up in the first three chapters of Romans, and how Paul dismantles both sides to argue that Jews and Gentiles are supposed to put aside our disagreements about “right” behavior in favor of being one family. We hear how we have heartbreakingly used these passages to perpetuate division in the family.

Children First | Acceptance

FUMC Kids are excited to lead worship this month and help us all learn more about accepting others. What area's in your life do you think could use more acceptance?
